Attack on Patience

  0

Today has been a very trying day. The enemy attacked me big time. I woke up with no patience. If you know about 2 year olds, then you know that that is a terrible combination.

I have to make a confession. At first I thought Timothy was just being bad. However, when I sat down with the Lord and opened His word, I realized that Timthy was not actually being bad. He was simply being curious and the things he was doing did not warrant the angry response that I gave him. I had to apologize. I don’t think he understood the apology, but I felt like it was important.

After my time with God, my eyes were opened to see that the enemy was attacking my day. He was trying to get me to hold malice in my heart. He was attacking me in a way that I typically see as a strength of mine. I firmly believe that he was attacking me because I have enjoyed sharing on this site and have spent more time with God than usual these last few days.

Today, God gave me patience when I asked for it and needed it most. As Paul said, ”when I am weak, then I am strong”. I was weak today, but God made me strong.

I’m happy to report that we had an awesome afternoon.
