She is time…

  0

For a little over a year now, something has happened to me.

I stood in the wind and it has carried me somewhere I could never have imagined.

I have felt things, I have heard things, I have seen things.

I have gained, I have lost.

I can sit here and bleed from the heart to try to explain, but unless you believe the things I have felt, heard, and seen it does not matter.

I will tell you this, before my sweet Lindsay passed away we stood in the kitchen of our home and I shared a little of what was going on with me. I tried to explain to her, but she just didn’t understand. She loved me and supported me… she even believed me. She just didn’t understand.

I am thankful I got to share with her what was going on. I now know she shares in all of it, but…

This is not about her…

This is not about me…

This is not about you…

This is about something greater than anyone or anything can comprehend.

It is about love, faith, hope and sharing in all of it.

A while back I was told to “bring people to her” and “she is time.”

I listened…

Tonight we only begin to see what this is and will be. I don’t know what to expect. I don’t know what to tell you other than this…

2 Corinthians 1:3-7

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.7 And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

Share…
